Also, collecting gems for you weapons would give you even more incentive to explore every barrel and every room in the game. I remember that I loved Diablo II because you could collect gems and add them to the weapons to modify them. Even if its a gamble, some weapons are so horrible I'd rather take a chance to lose it for a chance for a different one.ģ) Make the weapons more unique by allowing customization. Not to mention, barrels and other stuff would be fun to smack down.Ģ) Make it an option, for a cost, to swap out a weapon you hate. Plus, its just theraputic to just whack something now and again. running is a fun strategy but sometimes I want to knock these guys back. Or make a monk/wizard class that makes staves, spells, and guns less powerfull but melee very powerful. Or what about a character that can summon enemies.ġ) Add the option to use melee. Imagine the ability to rewind time just befor dying, or slowing down time for all enemies, or making the duration of all effects last a lot longer for a certain amount of time. what about a character that has the a special ability to modify time. If not, how about a character creation option? You could make these options unlockable. Since the game is rogelike and random, why not make a random character option that generates a random character that you can name. Perhaps make them all unlockable once you beat hard mode or some other achievement?Ģ) Option for player to create a character. I put so much time and effort into them, It is such a shame you cannot play them again.

You play the character the whole time, so here are some suggestions for adding some features for the players character.įor one, I wish I could access my previous characters. The player character is a huge component of this game. Here are a couple ideas maybe to add in the 2nd game. I've come up with some ideas in other forum discussions that would really add to the game and add to it's replayability. Which means of course, that there is nothing else to really do in the game. My main problem with the game right now is that I've beaten a dead horse. While I would love to play with friends, in my opinion the game is a solitary experience and I like it that way. Find another game like this for me and I would be shocked, and happy at the same time. I love the fact that this game is unique unlike most games. I love the struggle to power up, and roguelike elements. I love the world and art style and fast paced nature. I love the harry potter meets guantlet meets FPS vibe. I wrote a strategy guide so that others could enjoy the game like I do. Maybe place the combo spells at the end of these rooms so that way it doesn't require the player to pass them, but would be rewarding? I doubt they need anything more than a giant lava serpent (unkillable) shooting a targetted bolt while the player(s) try to pass.

Trap / challenge rooms are already amazing. maybe involve the unique room challenges / modifiers. such as A->B->C steps to clear it as well as killing all enemies. I more mean winding / maze-like rooms, or objective based. some of the slant / slope / stairway rooms are amazing and offer unique challenges to flying enemies where you have to watch your footing AND foes in the sky. very few rooms felt flat and choke point rooms were still fun. not that the rooms don't have extravagant and beautiful model detail and depth. I'd like to see even more "3D" environments. or some sort of internalized teleport at each portal / gate / door if a room has been cleared and every room adjacent to it has also been cleared. Perhaps an "Enter the Gungeon style" teleportation system might be a good idea if the floors become twice the size.
